Burke County, Waynesboro Schools Achieve USDA Recognition

Burke County, GA—Three Burke County schools were recognized Thursday morning by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for being outstanding nutrition environments.
Blakeney Elementary School, Sardis-Girard-Alexander Elementary School, and Waynesboro Primary School met the challenge.
The schools took steps to improve their nutrition program and address obesity.
